For two teams having opposite Octobers, the Saint John Sea Dogs and the Acadie-Bathurst Titan looked evenly matched, but neither teams fortunes changed at the final whistle. Julio Jones Jersey . The Titan (5-6-3-0) have not won since October 1, a 5-2 victory over the Gatineau Olympiques. Since then, offence has been Acadie-Bathursts biggest problem. The Titan have scored less than three goals in all but one of last six games. Elsewhere in the QMJHL, it was: Halifax 2, Lewiston 0; Cape Breton 5, Victoriaville 3; Moncton 5, Baie-Comeau 2; Shawinigan 8, Rimouski 3; Montreal 3, Rouyn-Noranda 2; and Drummondville 5, Val-dOr 1. At Saint John, N.B., Ryan Sparling scored Saint Johns first goal and added an assist, while Christopher DiDomenico contributed two helpers as well. Drew Paris scored the lone goal for the Titan. Sea Dogs netminder Robert Mayer stopped 22 shots. Frederic Piche made 25 saves for Acadie-Bathurst. Mooseheads 2, Maineiacs 0 At Lewiston, Maine, Mark Yetman stopped 43 shots to shut down the Maineiacs and lead Halifax to victory. Chad Earle and Ned OBrien both scored for the Mooseheads (4-9-0-0). Philip Wright made 18 saves in a losing effort for Lewiston (5-8-0-0). Tigres 5, Screaming Eagles 3 At Victoriaville, Que., Alexandre Labonte scored twice in the third period to lift Cape Breton to a comeback win over the Tigres. Travis McIsaac, Jonathan Bonneau and Brandon Hynes also scored for the Screaming Eagles (11-2-0-0). Artem Demkov, Jan Piskacek and Nick MacNeil put Victoriaville (7-8-0-0) up 3-0 before Cape Breton scored five unanswered goals to seal the win. Wildcats 5, Drakkar 2 At Baie-Comeau, Que., Louis Boileau-Domingue made 40 saves and Matt Eagles scored a pair as Moncton continued its strong start to the season, downing the Drakkar. Devon MacAusland, Scott Brannon and Pierre-Marc Lessard also scored for the Wildcats (10-0-2-0). Mike Villeneuve and Stephane Michaud replied for Baie-Comeau (3-6-2-1). Cataractes 8, Oceanic 3 At Shawinigan, Que., Matthew Pistilli had five-point night with a hat trick and two assists as the Cataractes thrashed Rimouski. Cedric Lalonde-McNicoll also notched five points _ a goal and four assists _ while Pierre-Alexandre Vandall, Simon Lacroix, Tommy Gauthier and Nicholas Petersen also scored for Shawinigan (10-4-0-0). Emmanuel Boudreau, Alexandre Neron and Patrice Cormier tallied for the Oceanic (8-4-0-0), who saw their four-game winning streak snapped. Junior 3, Huskies 2 At Montreal, Guillaume Asselins second-period power-play goal held up as the winner as the Junior fended off a Rouyn-Noranda comeback to secure the victory. Nick Layton and Luke Adam scored in the first period for Montreal (7-6-0-0). Jarrad Struthers and Benjamin Lecomte replied for the Huskies (5-6-2-0), who were unable to complete the comeback after trailing 3-0 early in the second period. Voltigeurs 5, Foreurs 1 At Drummondville, Que., the Voltigeurs exploded for four goals in the third period, including a pair from Philippe Lefebvre, to hand Val-dOr yet another loss. Marc-Olivier Vachon, Samson Mahbod and Mike Hoffman also scored for Drummondville (9-2-0-2). William Beaudoin scored the lone goal for the Foreurs (0-11-1-1), who are still searching for their first win of the season. Sean Lee Jersey .
